1. Mission
We manage the integration of people into their economic, social and natural environment with the aim of long-term stability and value enhancement.
2. Identity | Trusted Advisor
We are an appreciative and, as required, a critical advisor and companion.
3. values: | Clarity - strength - agility - continuity
We value people in their individuality and encourage a change of perspective aiming at a value-adding community, in the service of a mutual orientation.
4. philosophy | Everything is part of a bigger picture
Since its foundation in 1994, ICO follows a systemic consulting approach. Intellectual patrons are the biologist Frederik Vester with his cybernetic approach of the connected system and the sociologist Niklas Luhman with his thesis of the new complexity, which states that in a system with increasing fragmentation of individual interests, no one is able to maintain an overview and practice overall responsibility. To re-establish and transform the overview into effective responsibility for people and organizations is our highest priority. It is therefore important to depict entrepreneurial actions in an all-round context and involve people in shaping their work and productivity processes.
Principle 1: Helping people to self-help & self-learning system.
We pursue the goal of developing organizations into self-learning systems. For this purpose, we have the ICO EmpowerSystem®, which is certified Europe-wide in German, French and English, in addition to the usual market tools (Design Thinking, Scrum, Kanban, etc.). The self-learning system succeeds by installing an organization-internal feedback process.
Principle 2: Partner cooperation at eye level
Intense exchange, constant reflection and coordination at eye level is a prerequisite for turning a theoretical concept into a practical end result. The networking of knowledge, perspectives and experience is thus the basis for successful project implementation.
Principle 3: Experience-based learning / learning in progress
Practical transfer projects are closely monitored in order to anchor the theory input. This is done in a 3-step process, in which excellence is visibly developed through Solution, Testing and Implementation (STI).
Principle 4: "High touch - low tech"
All tools offered are at the same time digitally editable, but above all intuitively understandable and editable by hand on paper. Intuitive access is key to practice success.
Principle 5: Media diversity / digital & present.
Media diversity through short films, lecture, group work that can be implemented present and digital. Digitally, we have routines in MS Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex and regularly use digital collaboration tools such as Mentimeter and Mural. When it comes to program use, we are happy to adapt to your existing structures; we are accustomed to familiarizing ourselves with customer-specific programs or platforms. In addition, we generally maintain a networked project management with our customers, mostly via teams.
