Is stress harmful?
Most of the time, the opposite is the case. We require a certain stress level to reach operating temperature. We often get things done quicker when we are under time pressure.

Chronic stress seems to be increasing in the agile working world. It is normal to have stress. Too much of this "stress normality" can be harmful. Colleagues have to fill in for those absent from work due to illness, which then leads to further absence from work. This vicious circle means reduced performance.
