A combination of GPS treasure hunt and forest ropes course in the Gunzesried Valley: find hiding places, master the Mohawk Walk and vine swing, climb the giant ladder — and finally dare the 9 m ladder jump. Strategic, physical, collaborative.
Can be combined with:
High-altitude adrenaline meets GPS tracking skills. Whether ground Mohawk, swinging giant ladder or the jump from the 9-metre ladder — each station challenges the team in a different way. The GPS tour links the stages into a coherent experience through the Gunzesried Valley.
The GPS Mountain Forest Course is a versatile outdoor experience for teams that combines GPS treasure hunting, ground-based strategic challenges and high-level elements in the forest ropes course. Suitable for corporate teams, apprentice groups, clubs and families — from a purely experiential education event to a methodically guided outdoor training programme.
The ground team course includes strategically demanding exercises up to a maximum of hip height: the MOHAWK WALK (navigating a path via narrow walkways) and the vine swing (reaching a safe platform across an imaginary ravine). The giant ladder requires balance and mutual belaying. The ladder jump at around 9 m is the most emotional exercise — climbed alone, secured by the team.
Geocaching is a pure GPS treasure hunt and can be done anywhere in the Allgäu (or worldwide). The GPS Mountain Forest Course takes place permanently at the Gunzesried forest ropes course and combines the GPS tour with real high-level stations — Mohawk Walk, giant ladder, ladder jump. Climbing harnesses and helmets are mandatory equipment; the GPS route is the link between the stations.
• 9-metre ladder jump as the emotional highlight
• Wobbly giant ladder as a balance and team challenge
• MOHAWK WALK and vine swing on the ground
• Full equipment included
• Wrap-up at the ICO Center with table football and snack bar

Methodologically, it is an experiential education mix of strategy, courage and teamwork — either as a pure experience or as a methodically guided outdoor training programme with an evaluation phase.
