The gorges in Allgäu around Sonthofen, in Vorarlberg and Tyrol, offer various difficulty levels and characteristics. Experienced and trained canyon guides lead you through breathtaking gorges — from beginner enjoyment to adventure adrenaline.

Jumping, sliding, abseiling, swimming in the flowing mountain stream — sun on your skin, clear water, pure nature experience. The classic canyoning experience: water slides in smooth rocks, jumps of varying heights into deep pools, abseiling down rushing waterfalls, current swimming through narrow passages. “Everyone can, no one must!” — every section can be bypassed on a hiking trail. Three difficulty levels adapt the experience to the group and experience: Beginner for a relaxed introduction, Sporty for a first adrenaline experience, Adventure for advanced participants pushing their limits.

The spectacular winter variant of canyoning. In the Crystal Canyon, the experience shifts to a frozen ice gorge — ice waterfalls, crystal structures on the rock walls, a completely different atmosphere than in summer. Same key data, same safety, completely different character.

Instead of flowing water, you find yourself in a frozen gorge landscape: ice waterfalls for abseiling, crystal structures sparkling in the sunlight, and the unique silence of a winter gorge. The safety standards remain identical — state-certified guides, tested equipment, safety techniques. A real highlight for groups who have already done canyoning and are looking for an extraordinary experience.

The methodologically deepened team-building variant of canyoning — embedded in the ICO REAL Outdoor method (real experience action learning). Here, the canyon tour becomes a living metaphor for teamwork under pressure: mutual securing, clear communication, trust. Available in winter and summer options, same price range.

The meeting point is at the ICO Outdoor Center near Sonthofen — here you can change and get your equipment. Then we drive together in your cars to the parking lot at the canyon entrance. Transfer can be booked on request — please contact us.
Varies by variant: Beginner — no prior experience necessary (from 10 years, swimmers). Sporty — some canyoning experience beneficial. Adventure — canyoning experience required. Being able to swim is a basic requirement for all variants.
Located directly on the river: warm showers and changing rooms, bar with drinks & snacks, outdoor lounge and sun deck with mountain views, table tennis, foosball, darts, bouldering wall. Ideal way to end the canyoning tour.
Tours take place in all weather conditions (exception thunderstorms — safety is a priority). In critical water level conditions, we change the location: Canyons in Allgäu, Vorarlberg, and Tyrol give us flexible options. Tours are conducted with a minimum of 6 people.
In summer (April–October), we go into the open gorges in Allgäu, Vorarlberg or Tyrol — jumping, sliding, abseiling in flowing water. In winter, we shift the experience to the Crystal Canyon — a spectacular ice gorge tour with the same key data (half-day, from €75 p.p.), same safety, but a completely different character.
