Ski Jumper Feeling — Overview

Complete overview of the process, guided hill tour, and booking.

Where spectators become insiders

During the guided hill tour, learn impressive information about the sport of ski jumping and the ORLEN Arena: distances, speeds, spectator capacities, and training methods. Climb the inrun of the large hill, touch the ceramic track — and feel the steepness that usually only Olympic jumpers experience.

Guided Hill Tour with Insider Knowledge

You will learn about distances, speeds, spectator capacities, and training methods of ski jumpers — everything that usually only insiders and World Cup athletes of the Four Hills Tournament know.

Large Hill Ascent with Safety Harness

Climb the steep inrun of the large hill, touch the ceramic track, and feel the steepness that looks flat on TV — but is breathtaking in reality.

Take a Seat on the Start Gate

The highlight — with original jumping skis under your feet, you sit on the start gate of the competition hill and experience the feeling of a ski jumper before the jump.

Perspective Change Guaranteed

From the start gate at a height of 80 meters, the world looks different. Oberstdorf lies at your feet, the landing area drops away steeply — a physically experienced change of perspective that shows how far courage can take you.

A Boundary That Stays in Memory

Very few people ever manage to climb the ceramic track of the large hill in their lifetime. You are doing it today — well secured, but with real adrenaline. The moment at the start gate burns itself into your memory.

In the Footsteps of the Eagles

Ski jumping skis, helmet, and bib: For a moment, you stand where Hannawald and Schmitt achieved their greatest victories. A photo that adds a nice nuance to any job interview.

How this module methodologically connects to our core competencies

The Ski Jumper Feeling is an athlete’s perspective for groups — methodologically, it touches on two central core competencies that make this experience sustainable in everyday professional life.

Mental Training & Resilence

Sitting on the start gate of a large ski jump changes your understanding of mental strength under pressure — in seconds, you feel what top athletes master before every competition. Exactly this experience is methodologically translated in mental training: How do I control my focus when the pressure is at its highest?

Teambuilding & Outdoor

A guided hill tour is a group experience — helping each other during the ascent, shared insider “aha” moments, and a photo that everyone in the team keeps. Exactly this shared extraordinary experience forms the methodological learning core in the teambuilding & outdoor concept: What we experience together connects more strongly than any lecture.
